Good afternoon ladies

Well done to Yvonne Reeve on winning the Midsummer trophy and new lady Jo Ballard on coming 2nd.

The league ladies are holding their own in the matches and look certain to stay in division 4. We have also won more of the friendlies than we have lost, so carry on winning all those ladies playing in the matches.

Coming up soon is the men v ladies match. Hopefully after our excellent performance in the anniversary challenge we can go confidently into this match

Unfortunately only 3 ladies came to play with me at Boston which is one of our golf plus courses. I had played there before and thoroughly enjoyed the day, but what would, Cath, Eleanor and Jackie think of the course never having been before. The day went really well and all 3 ladies enjoyed the day and would certainly go back again. They liked the course and the friendly welcome they got. The results weren't bad either, with myself with 18 points on the front 9 and Jackie with 22 points. We both didn't play as well on the back 9, but Cath kept up her scoring, coming away with 38 points.

Coming soon are our matches against the juniors and the men and there is my Captain's Day at the beginning of August, at which I would love to see as many of you as possible.

Welcome to our newest ladies, Jo, Deborah and Elizabeth.

Enjoy your golf. Don't forget it's supposed to be fun. Enjoy it. We are so lucky to be out there.
