Chris Woolley

Ladies Captain 2018

Welcome to the Ladies Section.

The Ladies meet on Tuesdays for qualifying games and fun competitions. For working Ladies there are alternate dates at weekends for Medal and Stableford and also many inter-section competitions. Some of our major trophy and inter-club competitions are as follows:

We also have matches against the Seniors (peter Ryder Cup), the Men’s section and the Juniors.

The Captains Charity this year is Guide Dogs For The Blind.

Helen Bensley is Middleton Hall Golf Club's new Ladies champion. Helen completed her two rounds with 183 shots narrowly beating Elaine Wall into second place with 184 shots. Chris Woolley and Elaine Calvert were joint third with 186 shots.

The handicap winner was Chris Woolley with a net score of 146. Joanne Ballard was second with 147 points and Lesley Foote came third with 149 points.

The day was made even more memorable by Kirsten Kerry who got a hole in one on the 15th second time around.

Congratulations to the winners and well done to all the ladies who completed the 36 holes!

Ladies Captain Chris Woolley (left) presented Helen Bensley with the trophy.
