Golf Overview Course Guide Driving Range Golf Shop Beginner to Golfer

Like to become a golfer? Middleton Hall Golf Club offers all of the facilities and expertise required to make your aspirations a reality. Here at Middleton we have two PGA Professionals who can provide advice and tuition, extensive short game practice areas for chipping and putting, a covered, floodlit driving range and practice bunkers. The year-round facilities referred to above will enable you learn, play and develop your golfing skills.

Described below is a structured approach that will take you from beginner to golfer and ultimately to become valued member of our club with a handicap that will enable you to fully participate in the many and varied competitions both internal and inter-club.

Becoming a Golfer

Step 2 Beginner Course.

This course is carried out on a one to one basis and comprises 6 x ½ hour lessons followed by a 1 hour lesson on the golf course and is provided for a fee of £170 .

The aim of this course is to teach the basics including how to grip and swing the golf club and how to use the various types of club. All of the equipment that you will need to complete this course will be provided.

Step 4 Bespoke Tuition.

Develop you golfing skills with one to one tuition provided one of our PGA Professional. A ½ hour session is £25 and 1 hour is £40.

The aim here is to focus on those areas of your game that require improvement.

Step 5 Become a member of a club.

Having become a golfer you may now wish to join a club in order to obtain a handicap so that you may fully take part in club and inter-club competitions. Middleton Hall Golf Club offers a 3 month Academy  Membership for £125. Restricted tee time will apply to this membership category. Step 3 Improver Course.

This course is carried out on a one to one basis and comprises a 1 hour lessons followed by 3 x ½ hour sessions and a final 1 hour on the golf course and is provided for a fee of £150 .

The aim of this course is to further develop the skills acquired in Step 1

Step 1. Introduction to Golf

Why not get a group of friends/family together for an initial introduction to golf. For just £40, a group (up to 6) can have introductory tuition with plenty of time to hit shots on the range and use the putting and chipping areas. After the lesson you can stay and practice as much as you like, followed by a free cup of tea or coffee in the clubhouse to finish.
